The plan was engraved in Paris, after a drawing by F. Fuzier. The birds-eye view includes the Roman town fortifications (the ‘Muraille de Sarrazins’). The ‘Tour des Sarrazins’ mentioned by Belleforest (1575, I, 1, col. 228-229), who was subsequently cited by Fonteny (1611, p. 479), is a remnant of the baths at Clermont (Provost/Menessier 1994-1, p. 133-136)
