« Tra questo colle e la Saona è un lunghissimo borgo, molto bene abitato, nel mezzo delquale sulla via corrente si vede un’antica sepoltura senza alcuna iscrizione ; si vede però che non è cosa moderna all’architettura, nè di privata persona alla spesa. »
