Connected with the Borromei bank, this merchant travelled for business between 1517 and 1519 in France, Spain, the Netherlands and England
« Ottun si domanda in lattino Hedua et è città et non ha muri alchuni novi, ma li muri antiqui de la città ruynatti, ma in qualchi lochi altti come he un homo, in qualche loco più et mancho, quali muri ruynatti circuviseno tantto como li Redefossi de Milano. Drentto a dicti muri vechii li sono de grandissimi campi quali si lavorano et in più loci sono sparse certte casuttie tristte da lavorattori ; ma il bono de la terra he ricoltto tra dicti muri vechii in duy lochi, l’uno è grande como Habiategrasso et l’altro como Gallaratte ; l’ultimo è muratto, il primo non, et tutti duy sono brutti loci. »
