The remains described here are those of a temple located in the south-eastern part of the town, on the site occupied in the author’s day by the Convent of Saint Caesarius
« sunt et adhuc in eo Monasterio tot columnæ marmoreæ, tot bases, tot tabulæ et sculptæ et inscriptæ, tùm sepultæ tùm super terram jacentes, aut mniis affixæ, ut annotari difficile queant. »
