Recent archaeological publications (Rémy/Ballet/Ferber 1996) make no mention of Aubery’s account of the antiquities of Aix, though L. Bonnard does

“crois le mesme Sextius [fondateur des bains d’Aix-en-Provence] autheur & fondateur des Bains d’Aist en Savoye, leur antique structure & l’arc triomphal [ ] [24], m’en font soupçonner quelque chose.”
