Transcribed version of the text

In 1641 the Turrinis did not make a reprint of Alessandro Vecchi’s 1629 edition (RIBA 3524). They settled on revitalizing the remainders with a new title page ( L’architettura di Vitruvio libri dieci… ), a new dedication signed Giovanni Maria Turrini (f. a2), with the printer’s word to the reader (f. a3) and a repeat of the additional title which appeared in 1629 (f. a4v°) with the introduction of the ‘Vetruvio’ misprint instead of ‘Vitruvio’ and the change of the address (“Si vende alla Libraria della Torre”).
