After the probable success of the quadrilingual edition of 1617 Regola delli cinque ordini d’architettura di M. Giacomo Barozzio da Vignola. Con la nuova aggionta di Michel-Angelo Buonaroti. Regel van de vijf ordens der architecture… Reigle des cinq ordres d’architectur… Regel der funff Orden von Architectur …), Willem Jansz Blaeu reprinted it in 1619. The text was reset, but the mistake in the inscription on top of the page in the 1617 edition for the plate on the orders, pp. 13 and 14 (“Regola delli cinque/ Ordine toscano”) was not corrected. The copperplates were reprinted. It was these editions by Jansz Blaeu which inspired the Parisian Firens edition.
The following year (1619), Johannes Janssonius published an edition of the quadrilingual book in Arnhem.
