This print of Dietterlin’s treatise is slightly different from the one published the same year at the presses of Balthasar and Hubert Caimox. The title page is printed entirely in black, and there is a portrait of the author accompanied by a poem in Latin. The texts were reset with different initials, some in Roman characters and with a few variations in spelling (“capitäl” was replaced by “capitel”). The engravings are numbered, but the numbers are not engraved at the same places. The colophon, the same in both cases, does not mention Hubert’s name.
