The building identified as a temple is in reality the place of worship in the Sanctuary of the Fontaine. Zinzerling stayed in France from 1612 to 1616
« Tertium esto templum quod Dianæ, alii Vestæ fuisse opinantur. Duo in illo columnarum ordines operis antiqui & artis exquisitæ. »
= The third [remarkable edifice] is a temple that some believe was dedicated to Diana, others to the Vestals. It has two series exquisitely made antique columns.
