= The ‘Thermae Palace‘, situated near the Church of Saint Mathurin, is believed to have been built by Julius Caesar. Adjoining this is a vaulted room overhung by the trees in the garden. The name is thought to be taken from the ‘Thermae of Julian the Apostate’; the water is brought from the neighbouring village of Gentilly.
