Le pont flavien comporte une arche en plein cintre, en grand appareil (Ier siècle). Il est encadré à chaque extrémité par un arc de triomphe
« A san Chamante presso Auignone è vn bellissimo ponte, da l’vno e l’altro capo del quale vi è vn portone, che rappresenta vn’arco triomphale. »
